We Are Rainbow Carnage!

In December of 2023, worlds collided as a disgruntled transgender poet sat at a gay bar and learned that the gorgeous bartender also wrote poetry.  At that fortuitous moment, the two poets flirted with the idea of hosting a free poetry night for the queer community, a salon and workshop intended to craft, improve, and uplift incredible works of art. Something magical was set in motion that night, and the poets never looked back.

The free poetry night became Rainbow Carnage, and with the dedication of many talented queer poets and artists, it grew into the successful publishing house it is today.

Rainbow Carnage Press currently releases three zine collections every year, as well as the works of individual authors. Join our mailing list to stay up to date with our publications and events, and ask how you too can become a contributor, a collector, or both!

Wether you have an old dusty notebook with some incredible work that we have yet to hear, you are aspiring to build your poetic skills, or you just want to watch, (we like those who just want to watch...) you are welcome to join us on any of our nights.
